built for speed...

Got the new laptop up to speed.  Installing the extra RAM and SSD drive was a snap.  My old computer takes almost six minutes to boot up and open Google Chrome.  The new super laptop takes less than 30 seconds.  What am I going to do with all this free time?  71,83,44,0,B

You will find that you will like that SSD more and more. On another tech subject...how is the aircraft guidance station project going at your place?

I have abandoned the FlightRadar24 trial. I sent the equipment back.

is there a reason you shut down & restart as opposed to just putting it to sleep? I understand the occasional restart, but daily restarts seem like a lot of extra work for your tool… I leave mail open, but all other apps - including Chrome are shut down as needed or at the end of the day, but the OS just goes ZZzzzzzz…

That is not the point of the post. It is all about speed and performance...not wasting electricity.

Thanks John, was curious about the FlightRadar24 project. You did well on picking up on what I was talking about ... I could not remember the proper name.
